UNISON in Waltham Forest will continue to campaign against the proposed changes to our terms and conditions. The management’s final list of proposals document Proposals Summary for CJCC Sept 11 shows that Car Allowances, Incremental Pay Freeze and the abolition of most premium payments are still on their agenda. The trade union report to Staffing Committee presents the unions’ arguments against the proposals.
At our branch meetings of 1st and 13th September members unanimously voted to continue to campaign against these unfair cuts. As a result the branch is now applying for a strike ballot to include selective and branch wide action. We will bring any updates to you as soon as possible, so please keep an eye on the website.
