This workshop will provide you very important information about your rights when you are stopped and questioned by immigration officers or face raids and how to help people being stopped or targeted for raids. Members of Walthamstow Migrants’ Action Group will be standing with balloons and handing out leaflets to promote the message that “Walthamstow is a welcome place!” The leaflet will contain very important information on immigration officers’ stop and search operation as well as information about the group. They would like as many volunteers as possible to join the action. They will be meeting at Art Cafe on Hoe Street at 4.30pm before heading to Walthamstow Central Bus/Tube Station. All support welcome.
