A women’s visit from Palestine (which involves women from UK too of course) is starting later this week – there will be a residential in Northamptonshire next weekend, and then many activities in London the following week, including public events on:
- WEDNESDAY 5th MARCH in Brent, a MEAL with the Palestinian women
- THURSDAY 6th MARCH in New Cross, a WORKSHOP with the Palestinian women
- FRIDAY 7th MARCH in Hackney, MUSIC with the Palestinian women
- and SATURDAY 8th MARCH in Camden, afternoon presentations by the Palestinian women and evening CELEBRATION of International Women’s Day.
This is a last-minute call to young women to join as project participants – there are a very limited number of places left for the right people to join the residential next weekend + the things that follow, visits to London, women’s groups, discussions etc: we’d particularly like to encourage women who live and work in HACKNEY, BRENT, CAMDEN or SOUTH LONDON... We wouldn’t turn anyone away on grounds of geography, but the twinning groups in these places are contributing to the project and welcome more local energy.
These visits are always really special so do ask if you want more info (but fast).
Note other people, including older women, you are not excluded! If you’d like to help with some of the activities, we would love to hear from you.
