Although we had a disappointing turn out, 92% of those who voted rejected the pay ballot in our branch. Nationally members overwhelmingly rejected the insulting 1% pay offer. We want to engage all members as we move towards national action. A strike ballot will start on 23rd May and last for 4 weeks. Members will be asked if they are prepared to take strike action. If the vote is ‘yes’ and the union’s industrial action committee give the green light, industrial action will start in July. ALL staff employed by Councils who are covered by the NJC will be balloted.

1. Current home address
2. Correct employer
3. Current workplace
4. An accurate job description
