Leonard Jácome, a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, composer and producer, is one of Venezuela’s most prolific and accomplished harpists. He has won numerous awards representing Venezuela abroad and has toured and performed throughout Latin America, South Africa, Europe, Japan and the UK. Often sharing the stage with the acclaimed Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra, he also founded and heads the Venezuelan Harp department within El Sistema and teaches at the Conservatorio Simon Bolivar.
A true innovator, Leonard designed the first prototype of an electric Venezuelan harp. Playing a range of Venezuelan sounds, accompanied by Jose Castañeda on the Cuatro, Leonard will offer a mix of both the traditional and the most innovative in harp music.
