Support the TUC “Britain Needs a Pay Rise” march on Saturday......

The UNISON in Waltham Forest Branch Banner will be attending the mass demonstration called by the TUC on Saturday. We will be meeting at 9:45am at Walthamstow Central Station to travel together up to Embankment. A flyer is enclosed. Please make every effort to join us and get friends and family to join us. Let’s make it a great day out and really make the point that our economy can only really start to recover when the people have enough money to buy stuff. Continue reading

UNISON has today reminded local government and school members in England, Wales and Northern Ireland that the consultation on the revised NJC pay proposals begins tomorrow, Thursday 16 October and that they face a clear choice to accept the offer or reject and take sustained action.
