In the 19th Century, the thinker and artist, John Ruskin, fiercely attacked industrial capitalism and called upon individuals to take responsibility for building a better society and economy. His ideas influenced the concept of the “social economy”; corporate social responsibility and ethical consumerism. He is as relevant today as he was then. Come and learn from his ideas and a wide range of thinkers and actors who are ensuring Ruskin’s ideas live on.
