More than 500 dead from coronavirus at east London hospitals but daily toll falling......

The number of confirmed deaths from coronavirus in east London hospitals has now risen to more than 500 since the start of the pandemic.

However, only four new deaths were confirmed today, significantly lower than the daily totals from the end of last week.  Click here to read more.

Coronavirus: Reduced Tube service has led to overcrowding......

Cuts to Tube and buses in London have led to overcrowding during the coronavirus outbreak, Britain’s biggest travel watchdogs have said.

Coronavirus: London Bus drivers share free travel fears......

Bus travel in London will be free of charge during the coronavirus outbreak, Transport for London (TfL) has announced.

All two-door buses will move to middle-door entry on Monday (20 April) – with the front of the vehicle roped off to protect drivers from contact with passengers.  Click here to read more.

Eleven coronavirus deaths were today announced at east London hospitals.

Barts Health NHS Trust, which runs Whipps Cross Hospital, confirmed a further seven COVID-19 deaths bringing the trust’s total to 306.  Click here to read more.
