Alliston House

Alliston House pic April 2013 SWThe Waltham Forest Guardian newspaper has reported that a local  Council Care Home has received high praise after a recent random Inspection.

Alliston House, in Church Hill, Walthamstow was inspected earlier this year by the Care Quality Commission, the regulatory body for health and social care in England. The CQC reported that residents at the home were treated well by staff. The Guardian quoted an Inspector as saying “We found people were treated with respect and dignity, those who spoke with us felt they received good care and treatment.”

It’s good to know that Council Care Homes continue to provide great quality social care and the UNISON members there fully deserve this praise from the CQC.
