We are delighted to announce that Peter Ashan is our new Chair and Lynne Troughton is our new Branch Treasurer. We are very pleased to have two committed people take up these posts on our Branch Committee.

Osborne Confirms his dislike of Local Government......
George Osborne’s Spending Review statement confirmed just how unreasonable this government is when it comes to local authorities and their staff. He announced a further 10% will be cut from local authority budgets, which will inevitably lead to more cuts and more services being lost. Continue reading
