Fire Stations closing 9 am on Thursday – let’s thank our firefighters and tell Boris what we think......
Boris Johnson’s cuts to the London Fire Brigade will take effect after the end of the night shift this Thursday morning (9 January) with fire stations closing at 9.00 am. Across London 10 fire stations, 14 fire engines and 552 firefighters will be axed.
A number of demonstrations will take place from 8.30 am on Thursday morning opposing Boris’ Johnson’s cuts to the London Fire Brigade. These will also give us the opportunity to thank the firefighters at stations that are closing for the work they do protecting our local communities. Continue reading
