Remember the dead and fight for the living......

wmd logoMonday 28th April is the International Workers Memorial Day, a day when the trade union movement remembers those who have died as a result of their work and renews its commitment to fight for better health and safety for those still working.

This year, the day has particular resonance as deaths at work are rising at the same time as regulations are being weakened and enforcement of health and safety rules and regulations is being seriously reduced. Continue reading
