UNISON Worth-It video......
Thanks to all our members who took strike action to support the campaign for fair pay last Thursday, especially to those that joined our picket lines, came to the local rally and/or travelled up to the BBC to join the march and rally. Despite the poor weather, good morale and determination were in evidence. We got some good coverage on the national TV news and lots of time was given over to the issue on radio. There will likely be another call to take further action later in the summer – probably September / October time, unless the employers come back to the table with an improved offer.
