150th Anniversary of the First International – 28 September

Join a celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the International Working Men’s Association by London Trades Council and delegations from France, Poland, Germany, Italy and Ireland.
A chance to discuss the successes and failures of the international labour movement with entertainment from Marxist Magician Ian Saville, Political Singer/Songwriter Robb Johnson and choirs from France, Italy, Belgium and Britain.

FREE entry.

3pm to 7pm Sunday September 28th @ the beautiful Rivoli Ballroom, opposite Crofton Park Station (15 mins from Blackfriars Station).  Refreshments and bar.  Continuing from 7.30pm at the Hill Station Cafe, Kitto Road SE14 with bar and food until late in an informal setting with more singing and magic. Bring banners.
