Survey for social workers – court work and publicity

UNISON is running a survey to ask practitioners about the recent trend for social workers’ names to be published in court judgments (England and Wales).

UNISON is concerned that in contentious cases this could expose social workers to risks from negative media coverage and public backlash. We are working to raise awareness of the potential consequences and the need for measures to protect social workers.

We want to gather your opinions about the impact of this, your experiences of court work, and how well you think employers support social workers in this area.

Please take our short survey by clicking here or putting this link into your browser:

All responses are anonymous.
