Waltham Forest council will be sentenced at Southwark Crown Court over asbestos......
The date has been set (February 16th, Southwark Crown Court) for the sentencing of Waltham Forest council for putting employees’ lives at risk by failing to deal with deadly asbestos in the basement of its town hall. We will have reps present – HSE v LBWF.

Check out your pension now!......
Capita Hartshead, the company that run LBWF pension scheme are now sending out the annual pension statements. You should receive one soon if not already. Make sure you check through all the details, particularly the continuous service date because we know that has been incorrect for a number of staff. If it isn’t correct do call Capita Hartshead now. Don’t leave it until you are considering retirement, make sure that it is correct today.
