Stan Seymour......
Stan Seymour, UNISON steward in Waltham Forest branch passed away last Tuesday following his long battle with cancer. Stan has always been a supportive member of the branch. When we took strike action he would always picket and join us on the demonstrations. He also took on trade union duties and had been a UNISON representative on the various committees in Environment Services over many years. In his later years in the branch he took on the less than glamorous task of being the trade union representative on the Job Evaluation Appeals Panel. He was thorough in his work and a very supportive man. Stan will be missed by all who knew him and we send his family our deepest sympathy. Continue reading
