The number of homeless in Waltham Forest is growing by the day. For decades the Christian Kitchen has been providing a square meal everyday of the year for anyone who turns up – now up to around 50 every night.
They were using facilities at Branches of Forest Road to prepare the meals. That facility has now been withdrawn and the Christian Kitchen has been offered no alternative.

Marian Nemit, 21, died when a wall collapsed on him whilst re-furbishing a shop at The Bakers’ Arms on 14 April 2015. Marian was on his first day at work at this site having travelled from his home in Romania.
The case has been investigated by the police and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the Coroner has now set a date for a full jury hearing into the circumstances of Marian’s death.

You don’t need to register again if you’ve already registered, but you might wish to check that you are on the Register. To do this your need to contact your local Electoral Registration Office. You can find contact details for it using the ‘postcode search facility’ on the front page of the Your Vote Matters website https://www.yourvotematters.co.uk/
A protest rally is to take place pre-match on the last home game of this season, to be held at the bandstand in Coronation Gardens at 1:30pm on Saturday 29 April.
