Branches Charity Walk......
Three local men are helping a local homelessness charity, Branches, mark its 21st anniversary this year by completing a fundraising walk. Branches provides emergency housing and support to single homeless people through its 27-bed, purpose-built hostel in Walthamstow. Branches Trustees Winston Reid, Gilbert Stowe, and their friend Satish will walk the Capital Ring during the summer to raise funds for the charity. The Capital Ring is a 78 mile circular walk around London. The group are asking local people to sponsor them, and help support some of Waltham Forest’s most vulnerable people.
