Waltham Forest Trades Council aims to raise a campaign to help get adequate PPE for all staff at Whipps Cross. There are lots of petitions going around – but this is different.
They point out that the money is there to finance PPE. They say cancel the PFI debt and use the money to buy PPE, and to encourage local industries to switch to producing PPE items.
Bart’s Trust spends £116m a year servicing its debt, which is 7.66% of its income, according to the IPPR report.
