LBWF are devastated to announce the unexpected passing of our dear friend and colleague Cllr Chris Robbins CBE, the Mayor of Waltham Forest, on Monday 5 April 2021. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
Chris served the Waltham Forest community since 2002 with dignity, grace, and compassion in his various roles as ward councillor, cabinet member, Leader of the Council 2009 to 2017, and Mayor and was recognised for his service to the community in the Queen’s birthday honours list in 2017 with a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire).
