Fresh hope for Harmony Hall......

Harmony Hall in Truro Road has been under threat for the past two years after Livability, the charity which owns it, ran into financial problems and decided to sell off its property assets. A decision to put the community centre up for sale was postponed earlier this year however, to allow community groups a chance to raise the £1million needed to buy it.  Click here to read more.

Dave Knight’s funeral......

Dave Knight’s funeral service took place at Manor Park yesterday.

The big chapel wasn’t large enough to hold all those who turned up, with a good number having to stand and listen to the service broadcast outside on speakers. It was a humanist service with dedications from Leyton Orient supporters, Unison Waltham Forest, the East London Runners and his life partner Anne. Continue reading

Information on Dave Knights Funeral arrangements......

Dave’s Family have asked that the following information be shared in preparation to his funeral on 16th September 2019 @ 3.30pm at The City of London Cemetery & Crematorium, Aldersbrook Road, Manor Park, London E12 5DQ.

As many are aware, Dave was great in supporting a number of charities. As such the family have asked us to share that if you wish, you can donate to a fundraising page set up here
